As ministry leaders, we are passionate about seeing the next generation flourish in the hope of Jesus. Yet, there are challenges in outreach that can be discouraging.
In the study Connecting with the Next Generation, 60% of churches reported less than 10% growth in children’s ministry over the past two years. Several factors can contribute to this. For instance, the Global Youth Culture report shows 34% of teens globally are religiously unaffiliated, citing hurt, apathy, or lack of exposure.
This underscores the opportunity to engage the next generation with a transformative Gospel. By working together and tailoring outreach to community needs, we can multiply efforts to reach more young people for Christ.
