Relevant Models

We want to adopt relevant models to effectively reach children, youth, and families in the national or local context being served.

44% of churches say their biggest need is better knowledge of children and youth ministry practices.

The Need for Models

Models provide valuable knowledge, strategies, or frameworks that help guide the learning experience. They typically help foster participation, connection, and excitement surrounding the teachings at hand. For models to be most effective, relevance is key. Each context in which a model is implemented will vary regionally, culturally, or generationally.

Connecting with The Next Generation shows that 44% of churches say their biggest need is better knowledge of children and youth ministry practices.

This need for knowledge grows as models become more complex when working in isolation. Collaboration, however, helps contextualize and apply the right models to a given situation. InCommon aims to foster that collaboration.

Does this sound like you?

  • My church needs new research regarding Gen Z and Gen Alpha
  • Our organization needs to innovate to reach the next generation
  • The models we’ve been using for children’s discipleship started off strong but are no longer engaging

If the above resonates, InCommon is here to serve you.
